La Plissonnais is a stone-built Norman farm, originally dating from the late 17th Century. Resting on the edge of a peaceful river valley in southern Normandy, the farm was renovated in the mid-90s into a complex of three holiday properties.
The property is set in several acres of orchards and pastureland, and includes an outdoor swimming pool, barbecue and childrens' playarea.
Overlooking the river Airon, La Plissonnais is a holiday-maker's paradise nestled in the Normandy petit bocage countryside, perfect for a tranquil retreat, your own private haven to explore the region with its excellent restaurants and unspoilt beaches.
The property features most of its original features, including ancient oak beams and granite fireplaces, and is well-appointed throughout.
La Plissonnais is situated in the Department of Manche (Normandy), three miles south of St.Hilaire du Harcouët and just a mile from the D977 road to Fougères.
It is within easy reach of the ferry ports of Caen, Cherbourg, St.Malo and Le Havre, and the airports at Dinard and Rennes.

La Plissonnais is an ideal location for a relaxing holiday where all tastes can be catered for. It is in the countryside yet within 30 minutes of the historic monument Mont St Michel, the market towns of Avranches, St Hilaire, Ducey and Fougères, the walkers' paradise of the Forêt Dominiale du Normandie/Maine and the superb sandy beaches between Carolles and Granville.
Nearby activities include: fun-parks, zoos, gardens, watersports, bird-watching, cycling, walking, riding, golf and fishing. An American cemetery and war museum are also close at hand.
Since we can house over 20 people in comfort, we are often booked for special occasions (50th birthdays, 80th birthdays, golden wedding anniversaries, even weddings) and we can provide catering for as little or as much of the event as you would like.
Out of season, the tranquility of the location makes us an ideal place for a retreat meeting, or a small group who wish to hold a business event away from the distractions of the commercial world, but of course with all modern communications (broadband internet, Sky TV) on hand.
